Age 60, of South Park, formerly from Overbrook, unexpectedly passed away on June 16, 2016. Beloved husband of Lynn (Slizik); proud and loving father of Lauren and Ryan; adored son of Anna Marie Hanlon and late James Francis Hanlon. He is survived by his siblings, Richard (Fran), Michael (Patti), Kevin (Mary), Eileen (Leo Luczynski), Joe (Lisa), Cindy; and many nieces and nephews. Chip was a committed member of the South Park community as president of the South Park Girls Softball organization as well as coaching youths in baseball, basketball and soccer over generations. Chip was always found at the softball fields (South Park, the Pittsburgh Power, the Riot and the Diamond Stars) and touched many lives throughout the years. Family and friends will be received Monday, June 20, 2016, from 4 p.m. until the 8 p.m. blessing service at BALL FUNERAL CHAPEL, INC., 600 Dunster St., Pgh., PA 15226.
