William S. Robinson

William S. Robinson 60 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born February 6, 1963, to the Luberta (Parker) and John E. Robinson and Lloyd (Bread Man) and Cecilia Burton. He was the oldest of Luberta and John’s five children, and the seven of Lloyd and Cecilia’s children.

He was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system, attending Burgwin, Gladstone and Brashear where he graduated in 1981.

He was a phenomenal swimmer, known for his exceptional diving abilities. This earned him the nickname “FISH”.

He was also an excellent baseball player, he was the catcher, and third baseman. He played little league baseball for the Jets, as well as other teams in both Hazelwood and Greenfield.

William is proceeded in death by his mother Evangelist Luberta Robinson, Father Rev. John E. Robinson and Father Lloyd J. and brother Darren Burton. He is survived by sisters, Juanda L. Robinson, Jacqueline E. Robinson-Bailey M.S. (Robert), Minister Jou-Al E. Robinson-Burwell (Rev, James D. Burwell) Dolorse Fuller-Wood (Clifford) Shelia Strong, Darlene Strong, Angela Strong, and Sharon Strong, Brothers: Reverend Doctor John E. Robinson (Rev. Latisha) DeWayne Fuller and stepmother Cecilia Burton, and Best Friend Neil Edmonds.

Friends and family shall be received Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 6pm until the 7pm service in Clark Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Glenn Street, Homestead, PA 15120
