With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Warren J. Riley, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Braddock, PA. He is lovingly survived by his daughter, ShaRhonda Riley; grandchildren, Amonee Butler, Derek Selby Jr., and Daimar Selby; and great-grandchild, Azari Davis. He is also survived by his mother, Marian Frazier, sisters, Lorraine Frazier and Donna Marie McPherson, brothers, Clyde McPherson Jr., LeRoy McPherson and Derek Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde McPherson Sr. and brothers, Samuel Frazier and William (Bill) McPherson.
Warren proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves for 7 years. embodying the values of discipline, courage, and duty that defined his life. After his military service, he dedicated many years to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, where he was respected for his professionalism and compassion.
A true Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, Warren was a devoted fan of the Steelers and the Pirates. He was also a passionate bowler, having achieved a perfect game. Known for his great sense of humor and infectious laugh, Warren was deeply loved and admired by his family, friends, and colleagues.
Though he had left this world, the light and humor Warren brought into it remains in every lesson he shared, every soul he touched, and every heart he lifted. May he rest in eternal peace.
