Virginia Mae Steppling - dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend - passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 84.

She was the beloved wife of Kurt Steppling for 63 years. Survived by son William Steppling and wife (Debbie) of Fort Worth, Texas; son Michael and Kenneth Steppling of Pittsburgh; and son Scott Steppling and wife (Sherry) of Pittsburgh, PA. Grandmother of Stevie Scott of Irwin, PA, Amber Castaneda of Fort Worth, Texas, Alexis Podsobinski of Carnegie, PA, Jonathan Steppling of Pittsburgh, PA, Samantha Grim of Carmichaels, PA. Great grandmother of John and Jordan Scott of Irwin, PA, Jax and Jett Castaneda of Fort Worth, Texas.

She was a registered nurse for over 50 years. She was the Pittsburgh Pirates number one fan. A Godly woman that loved to garden and found comfort in her cats and birds. Virginia did not want a funeral service but contributions would be welcome to the growing “Log Church” in the Banksville area.
