In Loving Memory of Timothy Charles McManaway
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we share the passing of Timothy Charles McManaway, who left this world peacefully at home on Monday, November 10th.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Tim dedicated his life to service, honor, and compassion. For over 30 years, he proudly served as a Pittsburgh City Police Officer, protecting his community with courage, integrity, and an unwavering sense of duty.
Tim was a man defined by devotion—to his family, his friends, and the city he loved. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mac and Elizabeth McManaway, and his cherished granddaughter, Bailey McManaway.
He is survived by his loving companion, Barb Golinski, who stood faithfully by his side; his son Keith McManaway; his daughter Sarah McManaway; and his grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, James, Matthew, and Kayla. He also leaves behind his devoted sister Patricia (Russ) Klicker, their children, and a wide circle of family, friends, and fellow officers who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim’s life at a viewing on Saturday, November 15th, beginning at 11:00 AM at Ball Funeral Home (600 Dunster St, Pittsburgh, PA 15226), followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Fallen Heroes Fund, an organization close to Tim’s heart that supports the families of police officers.
