Timiya Kaleya Currington

Timiya Kaleya Currington, 14, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025. She was born on October 15, 2011, to Jessika Cutter and Joshua Currington.

Miya was love and light, bringing joy to those around her. She loved to spend her time with friends and family, listening to music or making TikTok's. She had a gift for styling hair, her favorite was her signature puff ball with her edges done, topped off with lashes and lipgloss. She had a smile that would light up the room, she was funny, goofy, and the best daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend anyone could ask for. Even at her young age she had a beautiful impact on people lives around her. Her smile will live forever in our hearts.

Miya is survived by her parents, Jessia Cutter, Joshua Currington; siblings, Aneicha Currington, Joshua Currington Jr., Wynter Currington, Satia Cutter, Aleya Hamilton, Geiona Jeter; grandparents Kimberly Currington, John Williams, Thomas Boyd (Paula); great grandparents George Faloney (Mary), godmother Shantel Green, godbrother Dai Zjaun Demery; Jescica Thrower, Amina Morris. She also leaves behind her a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Family and friends shall be received to celebrate her life on Monday, October27, 2025 from 4pm until the 5pm funeral service at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc., 600 Dunster St., Pittsburgh, PA 15226
