Teresa Marie Crawford
Teresa, a beloved resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and family. She lived in the area for 66 years, always calling Pittsburgh home.
A proud graduate of Baldwin High School, she played basketball and was also a dedicated majorette. A devoted Catholic, she was a member of St. Albert the Great Church in Baldwin. she spent over 50 years as a talented hair stylist, touching the lives of many through her craft and warm personality. She also had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar.
Teresa, and her late husband, Donald Franklin Crawford SR, shared a Beautiful Love Story that began and flourished while working together at Jenkins Arcade.
Preceded in Death by: Her Parents the late Anthony and Mildred Kicielinski. Also Preceding would be her husband (Donald Franklin Crawford Sr), And Her Beloved First Born Son (Donald Franklin Crawford Jr).
Teresa is survived by her beloved children: Son: Eric Lee Crawford (Kristine Seeholzer), and Daughter: Crystal Marie Crawford, and Son: Kyle Ryan Crawford, Daughter Shannon Eileen Crawford (Joseph Michael). She also leaves behind her stepchildren: Angela Crawford Moore (John Wilkerson), and Michael Wilson.
She is also survived by her loving, devoted sister (Patricia Kicielinski), who managed to take center stage in many aspects of her life -an achievement that Teresa acknowledged with a mix of amusement and resilience! Beloved brothers: Anthony Kicielinski JR and Danny Kicielinski.
Her love extended to her grandchildren including: Frankie, Brennen, Bella, Bryson, Damon, Ryan, Cierrha, Rocky, Seth, Toby, Mya, Aaliyah, Owen, Nick, Paige, Mikey, Alexis.
Teresa will be remembered for her kindness and the ways she reached out to those she loved. Though she lived much of her life in solitude, she made an effort to stay connected, sending cards for every holiday and birthday, and calling as often as she could. She hoped to make peace and mend relationships, though time did not grant her that opportunity. Despite life's challenges, she carried love and, resilience in her heart and will be remembered for the way she tried to show it.
