Sylvia A. “Sue” (Bloskis) Schibik

Age 89, of Carrick, passed away at home on July 6, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Richard George Schibik; loving mother of Janice (Thomas) Verscharen and Karen (David) Kirik. Sister of the late Sylvester, Edward, Henry and Robert Bloskis. Gram of Michael (Rae Lynn) McKown, Katherine Kirik (Matthew Turnquist), Caleb Kirik (Roshni Sheth); Great Grammy Sue of Riley (Logen Solomon), Kassidy, Braiden, Blaine, Brodie McKown, Jeremy Hennel and Casimir Sheth-Kirik; Great-great Grammy Sue of Evianna Grace McKown-Solomon.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her son, Richard John Schibik and granddaughter, Janine M. Cowan. Sue loved to dance. She found relaxation at her "home away from home" at Pymatuning Lake. Sue loved to ride her bike, fly kites and play bocce ball. During the bocce ball matches, Sue carried the official measuring tape to accurately measure the distance between the bocce and the Pallina.
