Susan J. Crooks

Age 86 , of North Hills, PA formerly of Bellevue, PA is now resting peacefully in the loving embrace of God. Susan was born on 5/17/1938 in Pittsburgh, PA. Susan was preceded  in death by her parents Walter & Emily (Bassett) Crooks, and sisters Patrica Powers, Martha Hannula, and Phyllis Fillsinger. Susan is survived by her brother, Walter “Butch” Crooks, nephew Bradley Powers. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, dear friends Chris & Michelle and their families and many friends she made through Achieva.

Before retirement, Susan was a dedicated employee at the 911 Air Force Base and North Catholic High School for 20 plus years. Susan enjoyed many hobbies, including bingo, crafting, needlepointing and crossword puzzles. She truly was a loving kindred spirit, devoted to her Catholic Faith. Susan participated in many church activities and was a member of The Christian Mothers at Assumption Church in Bellevue for many years. She was loved by all who knew her and left a lasting impression in so many hearts. She will be missed dearly.

A special thank you to the numerous caretakers at Promedica Nursing and Rehab, especially Kim, and Achieva for providing care and support to Susan for many years.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Church 2270 Broadhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001. Arrangements by Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
