Stephen Valentine Obituary

Stephen Allen Valentine

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Allen Valentine, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on January 17, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on August 17, 1955, in West Virginia, Stephen lived a life filled with love, creativity, and inspiration that touched the hearts of many.

Stephen was the cherished son of Junior Francis Valentine and Betty Jean McDonald Valentine, who instilled in him values of kindness, perseverance, and a dedication to lifelong learning. He later pursued his education at Robert Morris College, where he laid the groundwork for a successful career.

Stephen was known affectionately as “Uncle Steve” – the cool uncle who was always ready to share a laugh, tell a story, or lend an ear. His remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages made him a beloved figure in the lives of his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving sister, Carol Bosco, whose bond with Stephen was unbreakable; his niece, Christine Vargo, who looked up to him as a guiding light, his former wife, Sherry Valentine; and his devoted daughters, Stefanie Marrotti and Sandy Valentine, who brought him immeasurable joy. Stephen was also a proud grandfather to Destiny, Vito, Angelo, Lucrezia, Helena, and Leon, who were the apples of his eye and filled his life with laughter and love.

A man of many interests, Stephen had a deep passion for music and could often be found playing his guitar or sharing his love of drawing. An avid reader, he had an insatiable curiosity that led him to explore diverse topics and share his wisdom with those around him.

Stephen's kindness, creativity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will resonate in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.

In accordance with Stephen's wishes, a private funeral service will be held. His family asks that you remember him fondly and celebrate the beautiful moments shared together. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring his memory with acts of kindness and creativity in your own lives.

Rest in peace, dear Stephen. You will forever be remembered as a shining light in our lives.
