Stefanie Marie Settelmaier

Stefanie Marie Settelmaier, age 37, of Baldwin Township, passed away suddenly following a lengthy illness on May 23, 2024.

Stefanie is survived by parents Lisa and George Settelmaier; brothers Brian and Eric Settelmaier; maternal grandmother Patricia James; Aunts and uncles Patricia and Timothy Donahue; Gary and Colleen James and Adrienne and Tom Pope. Also survived by several cousins, relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Donald James; paternal grandparents George A. and Josephine Settelmaier and Aunt Carole Settelmaier.

Stefanie grew up in Baldwin Township and was a graduate of Baldwin High School. Most people called her Stef. She loved to dance and was a dancer from the age of 4 years old until she graduated high school at 18 years old. She performed many different types of dances: ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatic. Stefanie was a beautiful dancer, winning several awards.

Dog grooming was Stefanie’s passion, she loved to groom dogs and spend time with them. She was self-taught and always strived to be the best at her craft. Her clients and dogs loved her. Her favorite breed of dog to groom were the several types of “Doodles.”

Stefanie had a big soft heart, a willingness to help people, and a beautiful smile that would light up your heart. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.

A memorial service for close friends and family was held May 31, 2024.
