Scott Kasbee, age 67, originally of Cambridge Springs, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Scott was born to Richard and Charlotte Kasbee in 1957. He was the beloved husband to Marleen (Kobelinski) Kasbee, father to Brittney (Ken) Churchill and Patrick (Gabrielle); Grandpa to Landon, Noah, Emmett, Kingston, Johnathan, Gabriel and Lauren. He enjoyed being a brother to Jim (Pam) and Brenda (Blaine) Walp, and uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is predeceased by his father and daughter Sara.
Scott was a United States Army veteran, reaching the rank of Captain from 1983 to 1992 when he primarily worked as a JAG officer, but also included service as an MP and Company Commander. He remained in the ready reserve until 1995, becoming a Major in rank. He received many honors, most notably his Meritorious Service Metal with two oak-leaf clusters. Following the military, Scott partnered in or privately owned law practices, completing his last case before retirement a week ago. He enjoyed travel, good food, time with friends, and playing with his kids and grandkids.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Venango Gospel of Christ Church, 21472 Church St., Venango, PA 16440 from 1 to 3pm, followed by burial at Cambridge Springs Upper Cemetary.
