Scott Johnstone

Scott Johnstone, Age 62, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 9, 2024, tragically in his home during a fire. He was born February 27, 1961 in Shaler Township, Pa.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard I Johnstone and Betty Jane Lightbody. Scott had many different jobs over the years and always enjoyed working with his hands as he had strong a passion for art. He also loved animals, rock music, laughter, and was always prepared for an adventure. He is survived by his two sisters Bonnie (Kim) Olar of West Sunbury and Gloria Johnstone of Butler; one daughter, Kaylyn Johnstone of Shaler; and many others he considered family and loved with his whole heart. Scott has been cremated and is with the family. His memorial and scattering ceremony will be private. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honor his name, donate to your local dog shelter.
