July 31, 1960 – September 22, 2025
Sandra “Sandy” Marie Conlon, 65, of Pittsburgh PA (Mt Washington), passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Sandy spent her career as a fine dining server, bringing warmth, grace, and professionalism to many of the city’s most renowned restaurants. Most recently, she was proud to be part of the team at Rico’s Fine Dining, where her vibrant personality and love for people left a lasting impression on both colleagues and guests.
Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Born on July 31st, to the late Anna and Martin McVay. Preceded in death by her sister Kathy DeUsanio; her brothers Tommy Eichler, Richard McVay. Sandy is survived by her loving husband Richard Conlon, and their sons Shawn (Danielle) and Ryan (Jaqueline) Conlon, her sister's Debera McVay (Deb L.), Carol McVay, Mary Mandarino; her nieces Dena (Tony) Milesky, Tony DeUsanio, Jamie (Kody) Barto, Felicia (Bethany) Franklin, and Jennifer Franklin; her great-niece Ashley (Matt) Fox, Ember Barto; and her grandchildren Tyler, Caleb, and Jack Conlon.
Those who knew Sandy will remember her as social, outgoing, and always ready to spark a conversation. She especially cherished dancing with her favorite partner - her sister Mary - where her joy and energy truly shone. Above all, Sandy’s greatest love was for her family, with whom she shared her unwavering devotion and kindness.
Services will be private, held at the request of the family.
Sandy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
