Ruth Isaac Obituary

After a valiant fight, peacefully on July 28, 2025, our beloved Ruth entered into the presence of Jesus.  She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she cared deeply for her family, friends, all of humankind, and the creatures of God’s animal kingdom, especially birds. She often took on the cares and burdens of others and kept everyone in her prayers for safety, good health and blessings. She was selfless and loved to laugh - always desiring to bring joy to those around her.

Ruth was a talented musician with a beautiful singing voice.  She loved to play the organ, piano, guitar and accordion. She served as the organist of the Second Primitive Methodist Church for many years. Her cooking and baking skills were superior and her lemon squares legendary.

Ruth had a gentle, beautiful soul which was demonstrated best in her unconditional love for others.

Left to cherish her memory is her  loving partner, Dave Veatch, her three daughters- Wendy Isaac, Laureen (John) Bodnar, Robin (Bill Boehm) Parrish, her sister, Jane (Richard) Meltzer, four grandchildren, Shannon (Jason Annis) Parrish, Amanda (Rob) Kovacik, Nathan (Carolyn) Bodnar and Luke (Madyson Hammond) Bodnar - 10 great grandchildren,  Maddie, Kolten, Kash, Kruze, Isaac, Harlee, Greyson, Leland, Rj, and Jonah.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Edith Black, granddaughter Hannah Parrish, sister Edith Seskey Perry, nephews Tony and Jim Seskey and niece Nicki Blair.
