ROSANNE CATHERINE HEYL (Mallon)

July 22, 1939 to July 11, 2025  

85 years old

ROSANNE CATHERINE HEYL (Mallon), Age 85, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Conneaut Lake, PA and Bethel Park, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.  

Rosanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard Heyl, this past February and her parents, Julia M. (Madigan) and Edward F. Mallon.  She was the cherished mother to James (Carole) Jeffrey, Coleen (David) Jeffrey, Robert (Joy) Jeffrey. Adored grandmother to James (Sarah) Jeffrey, Dylan (Fatima) Jeffrey, Jeromy Presnell and Kaitlin (Kyler) Hardy.  Great grandmother to Conor, Jocelynn, Rosaleen, Bodie, Adam, Noah, Carson, Emily, Rodney and Ellie Mae.   She is the sister of the late Terrie (George) Colner, Jeanne (Jack) Keenan, Daniel Mallon and Jule Catherine Mallon.   She is survived by sisters Eileen (Robert) Och, Elizabeth (Robert) Hoinkes and brother, Edward (Shiela) Mallon as well as numerous nieces and nephews

When Rosanne and Howard married, she became mother to Leslie (Jim) Brueggman and Lisa (Steven) South.  Adored grandmother to Jessica (Alex) Crosby, Veronica (Logan) Monta, Joseph (Alexa) South and Maria South and great-grandmother to Ellie and Zayne.

Rosanne retired from Bethel Park Police Department after 23 years as a Municipal Police Dispatcher.  She was highly respected in her field.  She enjoyed her kitchen, spoiling her family and friends with all of their favorite baked goods.  She made friends where ever she went and beloved by so many.   

Rosanne will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in a private funeral service. There will be a Celebration of Her Life for family and friends to be announced.
