Ronald May Obituary

Ronald Bruce May, 81, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away March 2nd at his home in Beltzhoover.
 
He was born September 7th, 1939 to parents, Nathaniel W. May and Ruth Frances Bennett.
 
Ronald was a sibling to the late Nathaniel May, Melvin May and sisters Linda Taylor and Valerie Beatty. 
 
He worked as a PennDot Civil Engineer for many years. He also served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. 
 
Ron enjoyed playing the piano, singing, listening to jazz music or just laying back watching old western movie re-runs.
 
He gained his greatest joy when he became one of the Jehovah's Witnesses serving as a Ministerial Servant at the Beechview Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
 
Ron also enjoyed the privilege of teaching (pioneering) and giving others the wonderful hope of living in a future paradise on earth without any sickness or death. -Revelation 21:4
 
He leaves behind to mourn his loss; his wife of 58 years, Lovie M. May.
 
His children, Ronald Stevens May, Vickie Lea May, Anthony Terrick May, Ruth Frances May, Richard Allen May, James Calvin May,
 
and 8 grandchildren; Jamie May, Kayla May, Mia, Markema May, Richard May Jr., Seth Plummer, Jordan and Frazier.
 
He also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren and many relatives that are too many to list.
 
The May Family would like to thank families, friends and medical staff for all of their cards, prayers and support given throughout the many years of Ronald's battle with sickness.
 
Due to the pandemic, the family will hold a Zoom memorial later this year.  Ball Funeral Chapel is assisting with the cremation.
