MACK, Robert “Robby”, age 56, of South Side, passed away on May 9, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
A graduate of Carrick High School, Robby found his passions early in videography and photography. Always eager to celebrate others’ accomplishments, his videography business was a natural extension of his ability to always see everyone in their best light. A drummer for his 80s band, Atlantis, Robby relished in any music with a good beat, from classical Mozart to Aerosmith. When not at a concert or spending time with loved ones watching his beloved Steelers or Penguins, his favorite place was posted up on a beach with a crossword puzzle in hand. Ever the giver, Robby never hesitated to lend a helping hand; whether you needed a shoulder to lean on or construction project completed, he was equally willing to give the shirt off his back to a close friend or complete stranger. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and appreciated, and will be greatly missed by anyone fortunate enough to know his warm nature or infectious laugh.
Robby is survived by his wife of 25 years, Paula; children Caroline (Justin) Johnson, Joanna Mack, and Jesse (Briann) Mack; parents Bob (Sue) Mack and Dorothy Mack; uncle Tim Binns, sister Lynne Mack, and numerous other relatives and friends.
