Renita Ann Zumo BSN, RN

Sadly, Renita Ann Zumbo BSN, RN passed away Aug. 22, 2021, due to age related acute illnesses at age 81. Renita born Sept. 17, 1939, a second daughter of (deceased) Mary Dolores Flannery (aka, Martha Baker/Peckar) Zumbo and father, (deceased) Domenic Frank Zumbo. Sister of (deceased infant) Mary Dolores Zumbo. Sister to surviving brothers, James N. (Rita) Zumbo; Domenic J. (deceased, Lynn) Zumbo, David J. (Cheryl) Zumbo. Also survived by her beloved two pet cats, Precious and Buddy. Aunt to three nieces, two nephews. Several other relatives and Many Friends. Renita was a Graduate of Carlow College's Baccalaureate of Science Nursing Degree, RN Graduate of Southside Hospital School of Nursing and graduate of Arsenal Women's Vocational HS. A Former ICU Department Nurse Manager employee of Magee Women's Hospital, Former RN employee of Southside Hospital. Renita was a dedicated Nurse professional, a compassionate individual for Animal Rights and the Underprivileged people. With a strong-willed personality. Frank Sinatra Song "I Did It My Way" was written for her! As per Renita's wishes; a direct cremation with no viewing was adhered too. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends, W. PA Humane Society, Verona Wildlife Center or an Animal Rights Group of your choice.
