RICHARD “RICKY” SCHUMACHER

Age 62, of Naples Florida, formerly of Brookline, passed peacefully in

Florida on March 27, 2024. Loving husband of the late Angel (Ecker)

Schumacher; beloved son of Edward and the late Barbara Schumacher;

cherished  brother of Mark (Judy), Timothy (Sue) and Daniel Schumacher;

devoted stepfather to Luke Ecker; adoring uncle to Carly and Timothy Schumacher

and Lindsey Franz (Damon); precious son-in-law to Carla Frizzi;

treasured cousin and friend of many. Ricky was a Brookline boy at heart who

found his paradise in Florida. He often said “I’ll only return to Pittsburgh to join

my “Angel” for eternity.” Rick proudly drove the rails of Port Authority until his retirement in 2019.

Friends and family shall gather to celebrate his LIFE Saturday, May 4, 2024 from

1-3pm at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc., 600 Dunster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
