Peter B. Klos 61, of Carnegie, passed away November 12, 2024 at his home with his beloved cat Alley by his side. Pete was born on December 4, 1963 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Edward M. Klos and Anna Mae Barber Klos.

Peter was preceded in death by his father Edward M. Klos, mother Anna Mae Klos, brothers Donald Klos and William Klos.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin (Jackie) Klos, siblings, Mike (Becky) Klos, Steve (Lori) Klos, Dave (Teresa) Klos, Jean Snyder and sister-in-law Cheryl Klos, grandchildren Eliana and Christian, many nieces and nephews.

Peter graduated from Pittsburgh International Culinary Arts Academy in 1996 and continued his career in Missouri, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. He earned a bronze medal in the Missouri Culinary Arts Competition and also taught cooking classes in Morgantown, West Virginia.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan wherever life took him. He enjoyed being outdoors hiking , fishing and riding his bike. He was a loving brother and friend, he never met a person or animal he did not like.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial contribution be made to the animal shelter of their choice.
