Pauline Ann Pietzak

Pauline Ann Pietzak, 76, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Born on January 4, 1950, Pauline was the daughter of the late Stephen Pietzak Sr. and Elizabeth Pietzak. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Leskowyak, and her brother, Stephen Pietzak Jr.

Pauline was a woman of quiet faith, kindness, and compassion. She prayed daily to St. Anthony and held dear the memories of family and friends who had gone before her.

Throughout her life, she generously supported numerous charitable organizations and was known for her loving and caring devotion to her family.

As a young woman, Pauline enjoyed drawing pictures of her classmates and had a lifelong fondness for horses and little puppies. During her working years, she was employed by Bell Telephone. Although she later faced challenges with speech and mobility, she met those difficulties with courage and perseverance, always making the best of her circumstances.

Pauline found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed Turkey Hill Green Tea, Stouffer's dinners, and an occasional pizza from Sunseri's or Pizza Shack. She also looked forward to a burger from Burger King or a meal from KFC. These small comforts brought her happiness and often became opportunities to share time with those she loved.

She shared a special bond with her brother, Anthony, with whom she enjoyed many meals, conversations, and moments of laughter. Their time together created memories that will be treasured always.

Pauline wished to remain in the comfort of her own home and valued her independence throughout her life. Her strength, resilience, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. While her passing leaves a profound loss, those who loved her find comfort in the hope that she has been reunited with her parents, sister, brother, and other loved ones who preceded her in death.

"We hope and pray there is a better place where our dear sister Pauline now resides, looking down upon us with a big smile.".

Pauline was cremated in accordance with her wishes. A private remembrance will be held by her family.

She is survived by her loving brother, Anthony Pietzak. She was the dearest aunt to David and Tracey Leskowyak, Mark and Liz Leskowyak, Jennifer and Mike Shane and devoted great-aunt to Kyle, Ryan, Anna, Drew, Lauren, Taylor and Tyler, along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
