Paula A. Sunseri, 61, passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy as vibrant and beautiful as the life she lived. A true light in every room she entered, Paula was fun-loving, charismatic, and full of life. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit was uplifting, and her sense of humor could brighten even the heaviest of days.
Paula had a gift not only for styling hair, but for styling confidence. As a talented hair stylist, she helped countless people feel seen, beautiful, and cared for. Her chair was more than just a place for a haircut—it was a space for conversation, comfort, and connection. Beyond her work in the salon, Paula’s compassionate heart led her to serve as a devoted caretaker, always putting others before herself and offering empathy, patience, and unconditional love.
Deeply spiritual and profoundly empathetic, Paula believed in the power of kindness and carried that belief into every relationship. She had a way of making people feel understood and valued, often offering wisdom wrapped in humor and honesty.
Above all, Paula cherished her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Noelle Sunseri and Alayna Cummings, who were her greatest pride and joy. She was a devoted and adoring grandmother to her four grandsons: Darnell Dillard Jr., Denzell Dillard, Dontell Dillard, and Ryan Mejia Sunseri, who brought endless smiles to her face and filled her heart to overflowing.
Paula is also survived by her beloved mother, Elissa Sunseri; her brother, Michael Sunseri; and many extended family members and dear friends. She is reunited in eternal peace with her late father, Vincent Sunseri, and her late son, Brandon Michael.
Paula’s life was a reminder to dance when you can, laugh often, love deeply, and never miss an opportunity to tell someone they matter. Though she will be deeply missed, her vibrant spirit, compassionate heart, and unforgettable laughter will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love she poured into everyone around her.
Her light doesn’t fade—it lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
Friends and family shall gather to celebrate her life on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from noon until the 4pm Blessing Service at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc., 600 Dunster St., Pittsburgh, PA 15226
