Paul Fern 

Of Allison Park, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 80. Son of the late Winifred Fern. Paul is survived by Mary Zaffino, Shelby Kramer (Scott, Keira and Ava), many cousins and his family at Achieva. Paul was one of the purest and most beautiful souls that walked the earth. Paul brought joy to all who knew him. His beautiful blue eyes and wonderful smile lit up every room he entered. He had a playful sense of humor and a love for people. Paul enjoyed looking good and had a large collection of clothes, hats and shoes. Prior to Covid, Paul enjoyed going to a local program to work on crafts and various projects. He also loved going to dances. In the last year of his life, he fell in love with creating art. Paul has touched our lives more than words can express and as his family, we are forever grateful for the precious time that we were able to spend with him. We find comfort that after 67 years of being away from his mother, he has finally reunited with her in the arms of our Heavenly Father. We would like to thank Paul’s Achieva family for the care of Paul over the last several decades. Brittany, Brenda, Nate, Eric, Jen, Karen and the rest of the team - thank you for all of the love and care you gave to Paul.  Brittany thank you for giving us the privilege of being in Paul’s life; we were so grateful to have him as part of our family. We would also like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice of Wexford for the wonderful care that they provided to Paul in his last days of life.

A private memorial will be held to honor Paul’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Achieva or Good Samaritan Hospice of Wexford.
