Nikki Fein Obituary

We mourn the loss of Nikki Lorraine Fein, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose smile would light up any room she entered. She passed away on April 23rd, peacefully and without pain, surrounded by her loving family. She passed away on her terms, similar to how she lived her life. While Nikki was kind, sweet, and a caring soul, she could also be a force to be reckoned with when it came to protecting her family.

Nikki was born and raised in Clairton, attended Penn State University, and eventually found her way to Alaska to work on the Pipeline; an experience that would change her life forever. It was in Alaska, working as a teamster expediter, where she met and married fellow teamster Warren Fein, a boy from Long Island turned Alaskan wilderness man. It was fate and a shared sense of adventure that brought these two, most unlikely of matches, together in the tundra. Nikki embraced life fully and fearlessly, always drawn to new experiences, meaningful moments, and making memories wherever life took her.

Nikki was the beloved daughter of Edward and Lorraine Meena, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her beloved husband, Warren. She is survived by her two daughters, who filled her heart with love every day, Jourdan Fein Chahine, married to Danny Chahine, and their two daughters, Layla and Lilyana; and Alexa (Ali) Fein Bergman, married to Brock Bergman, who brought into her life two stepchildren, Olivia and Bennett. She is also survived by her three brothers, Eddie, Scott and Paul Meena. Her grandchildren would often complain that “Situ” kissed them too much (a criticism that Nikki would happily accept).

As a Clairton High School Honey Bear, it was Nikki’s smile and huge dimples that set her apart from the crowd. She had a huge and loving heart that always cared for others more than herself.

She will be missed by so many who loved her, appreciated her kind spirit, and cherished the fond memories she created with each of them.

Please no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Blood Cancer United (https://bloodcancerunited.org/?campaign=390400), supporting research, patient services, and advocacy for those affected by blood cancer.
