Nancy S. Nichols

Nancy S. Nichols, age 89, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Whitehall Borough Post Acute.

Nancy was born to the late James and Ethel Stoner and is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas H. Nichols; her son, TJ; and her sister Ethelellen Blasco. 

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Terry (Karen) Nichols and Teddy (Debbie) Nichols. Nancy was a proud and devoted grandmother to Michael, Mandie (Dave), Courtney (Chris), Dianna, Evan, Skyler, Camille, Chris, Eric, and Leann, and a cherished great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her niece Sherry (Doug) Steele, their children and grandchildren along with many other nieces and nephews.

And lastly, she is survived by her wonderful cousin Alice Jean Henderson.

Nancy will be remembered for her independent spirit and strong-willed disposition. She especially adored her collection of elephants and treasured the freedom of driving anywhere she could. Her  love for her family will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Nancy’s legacy lives on through the generations and lifelong friends she leaves behind and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
