Michael Ralph Sochacky

Michael R. Sochacky Jr., born August 2, 1950, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2024.  Michael graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also served our country after enlisting in the Navy Reserves. He had a love of the outdoors and during his leisure time he enjoyed hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, skiing, as well as playing his guitar.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Anna and Michael Sochacky, and his brother-in-law Fred Hebert. He is survived by his sisters Dawn Dovensky (Michael), Gail Sochacky-Hebert, nieces Katie Leda (Zach), and Carrie Seiler (Ryan), his nephews Alex Dovensky (Racheal) and Nick Hebert, great nieces, great nephews, and several cousins. Michael loved his family.

A private memorial service will be held at an undetermined date.
