Surrounded by his family, Michael McGuire, 70 from Mt. Washington passed away on August 14, 2025. He was a salesman in the construction industry and loved working the Steeler and Pirate games for Alco.
Mike's heart never stopped loving his wife "vision" Alberta. Those who knew him saw how deeply he missed her every day. Beloved Stepfather to Grace (Sterling) Taylor, John (Sue) Fedorchak, Rob (Laura) Fedorchak, brother of Georgetta Harding and Marion (Jack) McGrath.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who adored him, especially Stacey (Steve) Ott who spoiled him all during his illness.
Mike was a friend to everyone who knew him, always bringing warmth and joy wherever he went. A gifted athlete, he shined on the softball field and was part of a state championship-winning field hockey team in his youth. He was a passionate fan of the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, Mike deeply loved his family and was known for his generosity and vibrant personality. His spirit and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A special thank you to Stacy and all of the wonderful people at Heartland Hospice.
