Mary Elizabeth Sherba

Mary Elizabeth Sherba, 63, of Crafton PA, formerly East Carnegie, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 after a brief illness.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Jean Hannold, siblings Robert Hannold, Ruth Mutrie and David Hannold, and her beloved Grandmother, Mathilda Grandinetti.  Mary is survived by her sons, Josh Kazar and Joe Sherba, sisters Rita Aileen Gram and Rebecca Adkins, brother Rick Hannold and grandchildren JD Kazar, Anna Kazar and Trey Sherba, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a kind soul with a good heart who loved life.  She especially liked cooking, baking, gardening and laughing with good friends. She will be greatly missed by her sisters and Sue Friedland; they spoke with her by phone almost every day.  Mary will be missed mostly by her best friend and companion for over 15 years, Rory Gregory.

The family and Rory wish to extend their deepest appreciation to the ICU nurses and staff and the Hospice staff at Mercy hospital.  They treated Mary in her final days with grace and dignity. Services at a later date will be private.
