Mary Diane (Zimmer) Lichy

Diane (Zimmer) Lichy went from the arms of her loving husband, Bob, to the arms of her Savior Jesus on April 4, 2026.  She was born on May 20, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harry and Helen Zimmer.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Lichy for nearly 61 years.  She was the mother of Elizabeth Harvey (Michael), Jennifer Dawson (John Ryan), Allison Ibinson (Ed), Megan Ewers (Todd), and Michael Lichy (Julianna).  She was Grammy to sixteen grandchildren, Jordan Rzempoluch (Joe), Claire Rupp (Josh), Eli Harvey (Hannah), Jake Dawson, Will Dawson, Max Dawson, Elle Dawson, Ed Ibinson (Sarah), Samantha McFadden (Travis), Isabel Ewers, Jackson Ewers, Michael Ewers, Ted Ewers, Sebastian Lichy, Alex Lichy and Eva Lichy.  She was also Great-Grammy to eleven great-grandchildren. Diane was the sister of Harry Zimmer (Norma), James Zimmer (Janis), and Bill Zimmer (Roseanne).  Her family was her greatest joy.

Diane was given a gift of service and hospitality, and much of her life was spent living out the fullness of those qualities. In addition to serving her family, she cared well for the people God brought into her life including her friends and people in the community. She had a heart of compassion and was moved to help meet the needs of others in practical ways.

Diane leaves behind a legacy of faith and love through the life she led. Her faith in Jesus and her love for her family and friends was evident in all that she did.
