Mary Lou Hutchison    Age 70, Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 20, 1955 passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 16,2026 at 9:16 a. Daughter of the late Louis and Martha “Bert” Roberta (Spiess) Eperthener; sister of Louis (Gloria), Thomas (Caren), John (Penny) and the late Roberta J. “Bobbie Jean” Eperthener; loving mother of 2 sons, George R. (Megan) Hutchison Jr. and Matthew G. Hutchison Sr.; adoring Nana to eleven grandchildren. Aaron, Richard, Christian, Jonathen, Alexis, Dominic, Breanna, Madison, Matthew, George and Alonna; aunt to nine nieces and nephews. Mary Lou retired from a career at Duquesne Light. She was a hard-working single mom. She had an uncanny sense of humor that could diffuse any situation, a sternness that commanded action, and an abundance of love to blanket her flock. She was a trooper through life’s misfortunes and never complained!  She was surrounded by family in her final moments and will always be remembered. She was loved greatly and will be missed by all her family and friends. Per her wishes, she is being cremated and there will be a celebration of life held later in the summer for family and friends.
