MARLENE MARIE (SLOWIK) EGERS Age 81, of Castle Shannon, formerly of Overbrook, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 22, 2025. Loving wife of the late Eugene W. Egers; beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Wanda (Wessal) Slowik; cherished mother of Karen Richardson (Mark), Barbara Giegucz (Bill) and Michele Gentile (Paul); dear sister to the late Raymond Sauers and Teressa Hildorfer; adoring grandmother to Ryan (Erica), Ronald (Katherine), Geoffrey (Jesse), Daniel (Mary), Victoria (Jeremy) and P.J. (Mallory); proud great-grandmother of Kaelee, Bennett, Garrett, Makenna, Waylon, Gigi, Abigail, Owen, Mack and Ellie; a special sister-in-law to Jack Egers (Kathleen); treasured aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor of many. Marlene was the heart of her family, known for her boundless love, warm smile, and delicious Sunday dinners. Her life was a tapestry woven with devotion to her children, grandchildren, and the joy she found in baking cookies for all occasions. Spending time at their cabin in Sandy Lake. Taking day trips to the casino, playing Bingo, Farkle and Poker. She taught us all the true meaning of home and unconditional love. Per Marlene’s wishes, services are private. Arrangements entrusted to Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
