Age 65, of Brighton Heights, formally from Lawrenceville, passed away on April 28, 2023. Son of the late Henry and Joan Giza, loving brother of Karen Giza, cherished uncle of Bonnie Thompson and Sarah McCue. Mark lived for years with many treasured friends, and he will be truly missed by everyone including Patrice, Kevin and Curtis. Mark graduated from Peabody high school 1977, and received a BA in history at Edinboro University. He ran on the track team and competed in marathons. Mark enjoyed talking and spending time with his friends, family and cousins. He will be remembered for his loving, kind and humble heart, and his joyous, jolly and unforgettable laugh. We are asking friends and family to please join us to celebrate Mark’s life at a Catholic mass at Saint Augustine‘s in Lawrenceville, (Our Lady of the Angels Parish), 225 37th St., Pittsburgh, 15201, on Tuesday, May 9 at 10 AM, please arrive early to converse, mass will start promptly at 10 AM.
