Marie Elizabeth (Malburg) Mattola

Marie E. Mattola, of Pittsburgh (Beltzhoover) passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on June 19, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Marie was the beloved wife of late Guy Mattola. She is preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Matilda Malburg; three brothers; and daughter Barbara Mattola. Marie is survived by her children Guy G. Mattola, Donna (Jeff) Trbovich, Christine (Edward) Urbanowicz, Marie (Jeff) Kastroll, Frank Mattola; her grandchildren; and brother George Malburg. Marie enjoyed her “scratchies” (lottery tickets), going to bingo, and buzzing around the neighborhood in her motorized wheelchair. She was a lover of old-time country music and her doll collection. A private family service will be held, with no public viewing or services. The family appreciates your love and support during this time.
