Lynn Anne (Loughman) Conn

Lynn Anne (Loughman) Conn, age 78, went to be with the Lord, July 9, 2024 after a long illness. Lynn was born in Pittsburgh and graduated from North Hills High School Class of 1964 and Community College of Allegheny County with a degree in Child Care. She worked for many years as a bank teller and new accounts representative. After retirement she worked for many more years in child care which was her true calling. She loved music and dancing, especially to Motown. She collected lighthouses. Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Myna Strasser Barker and father, John Loughman. She is survived by her beloved sons Jeffrey Conn, who is a United Methodist pastor and Jason Conn of Pittsburgh, her beloved sisters Patricia Koleszar of West Mifflin and Patricia Matz of Crown Point, Indiana, her ex-husband Arthur Conn, many nieces and nephews and her cat Sheila. Lynn loved to read, watch Law and Order, paint ceramics, do latch-hook and plant flowers. She was a den mother in Cub Scouts and she made sure her sons had opportunities in life that she didn’t have. Above all she wanted happiness for herself and her loved ones. She was a lifelong Lutheran and she passed her faith in her Lord Jesus Christ on to her sons. We rejoice that her suffering has ended and she is reunited with her loved ones. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 11 am at Dravosburg United Methodist Church, 109 Maple Avenue, Dravosburg PA 15034.
