Lloyd Stackhouse passed away on April 8, 2026. He was born on December 2, 1951 in Pittsburgh PA to the late Isiah Stackhouse and Dorothy Baker Stackhouse. Lloyd, also known as “Louie”, graduated from South Hills High School in 1969. During his junior and senior years in high school he worked with his dad at Fierst Distributing Carpet Co. filling carpet orders. After high school he held several custodial positions with different companies until his retirement in 2024. Although he never had children of his own he was a great uncle to all his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and an awesome brother to his siblings. On May 16 2008 he married his sweetheart Maureen McMonagle, and became a favorite in her family. People knew Louie as a loyal friend. He was an avid Steeler and Pirate fan, and loved watching his nieces and nephews play sports. He and his sister would spend every Sunday night analyzing the games. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Stackhouse. Left to cherish Lou’s memory are his wife Maureen. His sisters Jacquline 'Diane’ Booth, Esther Stackhouse, Barbara Lewis, Viola Stackhouse, and Junaita Stackhouse-Knight and brother in law Tim Knight. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins and friends.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life on Friday April 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:30 AM at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
