It is with profound sadness that the family of Linda Mary Harding announces her passing on November 29th, 2024, at her home in Liberty Borough, Pennsylvania. Born on September 21, 1947, Linda spent her formative years in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, as the cherished daughter of the late Robert S. Harding and Louise T. (Heil) Harding.
Linda was a beloved sister to five siblings. She is predeceased by her son Albert Jr., sister Mary Lou, and brother Robert Harding. She is survived by her sisters Joanne Denne and late husband James, Dorothy Schmidt and her husband Glenn, and her brother Warren Harding and his wife Kathy.
Linda's legacy is carried forward by her children: Mary, Linda Irwin, and Jason Irwin, along with his wife Angelica. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Kevin Irwin, Kyndall Hutto, Caulen Hartley (preceded Linda in heaven), Michol Irwin, Christian Oppenheimer, Kassidy Irwin, Julia Irwin, and Adalynn Cummins. Her love extended to her six great-grandchildren: Alijah Irwin, Jordan Irwin, Adelynn Andrews, Braelyn Andrews, Isaac Hutto, and Ezra Hutto.
For 28 years, Linda shared her life with her loving partner, Gary Duda. She was previously married to the late Albert Irwin. Linda's warmth and generosity touched the lives of a myriad of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Linda will be forever remembered as a strong, hard-working, and compassionate soul who always showered her loved ones with treasures she acquired with them in mind. She loved traveling, especially to Navarre Beach, FL and was an unmatched baker and gardener. Her spirit, smile, laughter and shared memories will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
