April 15, 1956 – June 20, 2025

Linda Jo (Herd) Beatty, age 69, of North Versailles formerly of North Braddock, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on April 15, 1956, Linda was a fireball—spirited, generous, and kind, with a deep love for her family and friends that shaped every part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Beatty; her mother, Shirley Oswalt; her father, Everett Herd, and his wife, Phyllis.

Linda will be missed by her daughter Nicole Frank-Boea (Chris), and grandchildren Selina and Christian; her son Joey Mullen (Paula), and grandchildren Conor and Harper. She is also survived by her brother Everett Herd (Cindy), and nieces Lauryn (JJ) Yamnitzky and Lindsey (Colin) Smith; her sister Gail (Jack) Smith; and her partner, Dave Schaffer.

Linda had a big heart and a quick wit. She was strong, loving, and always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Her presence made others feel cared for, and her loyalty and warmth will never be forgotten. She was blessed with lifelong friendships and surrounded by people who adored her.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Club 206 (Firehall), 1318 Lilly Way, Braddock, PA 15104. All are welcome to join in remembering and honoring Linda’s beautiful life.
