Leonore “Lee” (Volovic) Kotwicki 

On November 17, 2021 Lee died peacefully at home in Cranberry Township after a two year battle with cancer.  She was 73 years old.

Lee is survived by her husband Philip, and her children, John Kotwicki and Lisa (Kris) Johnsen. She also leaves behind her grandsons, Ulrich and Josef (her favorite Cerebral Palsy warrior). 

Lee was born in Pittsburgh in 1948.  She was the daughter of John and Laura Volovic.  She was a 1966 graduate of St. Anselm High School in Swissvale and a 1970 graduate of Duquesne University.  After graduation she taught at a Montessori preschool before dedicating herself to being a loving mother and grandmother.

Per her wishes, there will be no visitation and the service will be private.  Contributions in her name can be made to United Cerebral Palsy (ucp.org) or the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (foundationforwomenscancer.org). Arrangements by Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
