Leonard C. Cichowski

Lenny C. Cichowski passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, in his Pittsburgh home in the same city where he was born, raised, and spent his entire life. He was 85 years old.
     A devoted husband, father, and grandfather – he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy, in 2022. He missed her deeply every day and now joins her in eternal peace, after sharing a lifetime of love and memories.
     Lenny is survived by his two daughters, Lisa (Joe) and Wendy, and his three grandchildren - Halie, Joey, and Sydney. He is also survived by Jack, his brother-in-law and friend, who looked up to Lenny as a father.
His grandkids were the pride and joy of his life. Some of his happiest days were spent cheering them on from the sidelines at basketball games and spending summers on the beach in Ocean City, MD.
     A lifelong Steelers fan – his love for Pittsburgh’s sports ran deep, watching the games with his family every Sunday.
     Lenny will be remembered for his quick wit and his loyalty to family. His presence will live on in his grandchildren, into whom he poured his whole heart and self. Even in his final days, he shared stories with warmth and humor, always reminding us how deeply he cared and how proud he was of the people he loved most.

A private mass will be organized to honor his life in the coming weeks.
