Karen Susan Duncan

Karen S.  Duncan of Pittsburgh, PA went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2024. Karen was born in 1954 to the late Charles and Mary Duncan in Freedom, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 aunts, Ida and Stella. Karen was also preceded in death by Roger Troy, the love of her life. She is survived by 3 cousins. Long time friends who will dearly miss her are Mrs. Yvonne Luckino-Sykes, Mrs. Sandy Baumgardner, Mrs. Heather Corey, and Ms. Mary Jane Snyder. Karen graduated from Freedom Area High School, and attended Duquesne University. After obtaining a Master’s degree in psychology, Karen served for many years as a school psychologist with the Pittsburgh Mt. Oliver Intermediate Unit. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 1pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 55 Forsythe Rd., Scott Township, 15220.
