JUDITH L. NOLLA (Meyer)
(January 17, 1946-October 13, 2025)
Judith Lee Nolla (Meyer), age 79, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, beloved mother, sister, and friend, went to sleep on October 13, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh to the late Ralph and Ruth Meyer of Mt. Oliver, Pennsylvania. Loving wife for 28 years of the late Thomas R. Nolla, Sr., Judy is survived by her cherished daughter and special friend, Amy R. Nolla; her daughter, Jill C. Nolla; her son, Thomas R. Nolla, Jr.; her brother, Scott J. Meyer; her cousin, Nancy Kowalski, who was more of a sister to Judy; her cousin, Jim Meyer; and many dear friends. Judy was predeceased by her infant son, Jeffrey T. Nolla, and her cousin, Bob Meyer.
Judy was always smiling, treasured all animals, and especially loved flowers and gardening. One of her greatest happinesses came from visiting Deep Creek, Maryland, where she had gone since she was a child. Most of all, Judy loved life, worshipping Jehovah God, and telling others about him. She had great faith in the Bible’s promise at Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” These thoughts comforted Judy throughout her life. She was a beloved member of the South Hills Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
A memorial service for Judy will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 325 Lowenhill Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
