Joseph S. Jastrebski, Jr. of North Hills passed away on February 12, 2021 at the age of 81.  He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 59 years Rita (Magasano) Jastrebski; brother, James (Sally) Jastrzebski, sisters Janine Peiritsch, June (Ernest) Coleman, Janice (Robert Kominski) Jastrzebski, and nieces and nephews Jason, Amy, Jonathan, Andrea, Brian, Mark, Holly, Christopher, Jeremy, Nicholas, Jonetta, Nicholas, Jr., A.J., Skylar and many great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Ann (Cornett) and Joseph S. Jastrebski, Sr., sisters JoAnne (Rene) Marcu and Judy (Joe) Norbutt; sisters-in-law Frances Zottola and Barbara Magasano and niece Amanda Harasty.

Joe was born in Pittsburgh on March 19, 1939.  He was a devoted husband, brother, and uncle who loved his family.  He also loved to fish and travel.  Joe and Rita conducted many bus tours to shrines and historic sites through their Joe’s Tours and Travel Company and made many friends on these trips.  Joe was generous and giving of his time, working for Meals on Wheels for many years in Beechview.  He was a beloved and special pal to his great nephew AJ spending many hours playing with him and sharing stories of his life.  He will be remembered for his constant smile and hearty laugh, love of old cars and music.
