John Robert Walsh

John R. Walsh, 72, of Brookline passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 surrounded by family.

John is preceded in death by his parents John T. and Eileen M. (Burlett) Walsh and Son, Thomas D. Walsh, Beloved husband of Carol S. (McFerrin) Walsh and father to John M. Walsh (Carolyn) and Sarah M. Walsh-Fry (Christopher), Brother of Kathleen Reznik (Edward).

John served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Technician and served two tours during the Vietnam War. He then went on to serve his community as a Police Officer for the City of Pittsburgh for 20 years until he retired in June of 1999.

John enjoyed many outdoor activities including riding motorcycles. He also loved spending time with his family and fur kids camping, hunting, fishing, and boating.
