John Michael Sabo Jr.

John Michael Sabo Jr., of South Park, PA passed away on October 27th, 2023. Son of Karen (Jack) Kalfas and John Michael Sabo Sr., he was born on January 2nd, 1972.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Michael Sabo Sr., his mother, Karen Kalfas. and a niece, Paisley Geibel. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Sabo, brother Chuck (Kristy) Sabo, sister Karoline (Terry) Geibel, nephews Austin and Michael Sabo, nieces Allison and Charlie Surman, and Tessa Geibel, who all lovingly called him Uncle Gooey and his sisters-in-law, Jeannine and Maureen Fullen.

Mike was a graduate of Baldwin High School in 1990 and attended the University of Pittsburgh. Mike was a loving father to his two dogs, Beans and Penelope. He had a huge heart and overcame much in his life. Mike was an amazing fiction writer and had multiple published works. He was a movie, music, and pizza aficionado. Mike was a deep thinker with a quick wit, and he was one of the funniest human beings on earth, bringing laughs to everyone that knew him.

There will be a private celebration of life for immediate family members at a later date. We ask that everyone celebrate Mike’s memory in your own personal way.
