John J. Dodato

On Thursday, May 21, 2020, John Jeffrey Dodato, loving husband and father of five passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side. He was born in July 26, 1957 to John A. Dodato and Constance Dodato-Biller. He is survived by his wife, Penny Terpak-Dodato, his children Kimberly Griswold-Dodato, Shantae Lewis, John Dodato, Abigail Dodato, and Vincenzo Dodato. His mother, Constance Dodato-Biller, his sisters Dianne Zinsmaster, Maureen Sproull, and Marie Dodato-Gorgans and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, John A. Dodato, brothers, Dominic Dodato and Ernest Elias, and his sister, Lillian Dodato. John J. Dodato went to Charleroi High School. He was a drummer for The Good Neighbors Band and had a record label with MCA Records in the band called The Zippers. He was known on stage and to many he moved with his passion for drumming as “Johnny Day”. He loved motorcycles, fireworks, and he was particularly good at pranking and joking with his family. His smile could light up a dark room and his presence will be missed by so many. Memorial Services to be announced.
