John David Cordero

John David Cordero, age 67, of Pittsburgh, passed away on July 30, 2025, surrounded by loving family members.

Born on November 5, 1957, in Pittsburgh, John was the beloved son of the late John and Colleen Cordero. He was preceded in death by his brother Marc Cordero and his cherished wife, Terri Lewis Cordero.

John was a devoted father to Christopher Cordero, Dominic Cordero, Lauren Romano, and Jeremy Ogrosky. He was a provider, caretaker, and fiercely loved his wife and children.

He is survived by his six siblings: Karen Perlebach, Lauren (Steve) Cordero, Joni (Bruce) Gertz, Eric Cordero, Jennifer Cordero, and Thomas Cordero. John was also the proud grandfather of Hannah Meek, Noah Meek, Moriah Meek, Lucy Romano, and Emily Romano.

John’s loyalty and quiet strength were constants in the lives of those who knew him. Though he carried grief and responsibility with quiet dignity, he never stopped showing up for his family. His legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion.

A private service for family will be held at a later time.
