Joan Rovano Hrynda

Joan Rovano Hrynda, age 77, of Whitehall, PA. Loving wife of Jeffrey Charles Hrynda; beloved daughter of the late Frank A. Rovano and Frances M. Zeleskey; cherished mother of Lisa Marie DeRosimo M.D. (John); dear sister to Rosann Rovano; adoring Mum Mum to Angela Marie and Sarah Carol; dedicated fur mom to Fluffy Chloe Marie DeRosimo Hrynda, her poodle. Joan passed peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic of a long-standing illness. Joan was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, educated at Saint Francis Academy and Duquesne University. She was an educator in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years, and she was active in the Italian Heritage Society of America for over 20 years.
