Jeffrey Harry Vitulla

Jeffrey Harry Vitulla, affectionately known as “Jeff” or “Vinnie” passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at the age of 59 in the VA Hospital after a short, devastating battle with cancer. Born on March 5, 1966, Jeff was known for his witty and humorous personality, coupled with a kind-hearted nature that endeared him to many. 

Jeff proudly served in the US Navy, where he was respected and valued by his peers. His military service was marked by dedication and honor, reflecting his strong character and commitment.

After his service, Jeff worked as a fine-dining server, carpenter and retail associate at various stores. Jeff found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching Jeopardy, sports, and Court TV, reading, playing cards, fishing, laughing and partying with friends and family.

Jeff is survived by his sister, Vicky (Bill) Gordon, and Mary (Paul) Nolan; his aunts, Renee Gregucz and Gilda Moretti; his niece and nephew, Kelsey and Alex Gordon; and great-nephew, Elijah Lambert.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Harry and Theresa Gregucz; his beloved parents, Carolyn and John Vitulla; his lovable big brother John Vitulla and many other cherished family members.

Friends and family shall gather to honor Jeff's life and legacy on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from noon until the 2pm Memorial Service at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc., 600 Dunster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
