Janet Ann (Biermeyer) Walsh

Janet Walsh of Pittsburgh, PA, was a kind and compassionate mother, wife and friend. She grew up in Etna, PA and attended the University of Pittsburgh. She wed Thomas Walsh, and they were married for more than 40 years. No one was a stranger to her. The ultimate people person, she was known for being welcoming and friendly. She had a dynamic personality, great sense of humor and was loved by all. Among her favorite places to visit were Marco Island, Florida and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. She loved working as a substiute teacher, reading and completing crossword puzzles. Janet also loved watching old movies and Jeopardy. She is greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Erin Walsh and son-in-law Nathan Duke and her brother Lee Biermeyer and his family.
